Quilt Direct is one of the largest and longest established dedicated Quilting Mail Order companies in the UK. Established in 1986 by Katherine Letherby in the delightful Stannary Town of Tavistock Devon as Moor Silks & Quilts in a beautiful and historic Mews. In 2004 Quilt Direct (mail order) was moved to Katherine & Graham's ancient farmhouse on a remote part of Dartmoor where Quilt Direct was able to grow along with the demands of internet shopping.
2018 was a year of change: The opportunity to offer a comfortable and light teaching space with the full range of Bernina machines including the Q series long arm machines meant Katherine finally was able to fulfil her dream of a dedicated Bernina Studio. With all the team now located in one building we can offer you so much more than just mail order.
