Katherine has been a Bernina agent for over 20 years, we keep a large stock of accessories as well as being able to offer the full range of Bernina machines. For those that are able to visit Cornwall Katherine is available for private tuition for those with Bernina machines and or the Bernina Software. Please contact us for further details.
Rotary Cutters, Mats & Rulers
The foundation to accurate piecing is quality cutting equipment. We recommend the Omnigrid and Omnigrip range of rulers, the markings are simple and easy to use and there is a size for every need! Olfa the original and the more recent brand leader Clover rotary cutters are available in sizes and grips to accommodate every one from beginners to quilt show ribbon winners. Cutting mats include the June Tailor hard surface mats as well as the traditional Olfa mats in sizes to suit all work spaces.

Katherine & Graham | News3rd September: The latest shipment of Accuquilt cutters and dies has arrived and will be shipped out on Monday. We are busy restocking the shelves after the Festival but I did escape the office to catch this beautiful sunset last night. I hope to add the pictures of Festival to our Face book pages over the weekend, I would like to thank the girls (and boy) who manned the stand for us for the hours of hard work they put in to making the Quilt Direct stand such a happy and friendly (if a little chaotic) place to visit. Our special little Tori being the star attraction when ever she made an appearance also deserves a special mention or 'High 5'.
1st September: We are 'online' again thankfully. I will add further updates as soon as possible! We are processing your orders and hope to have everyone up to date by the time the post goes this afternoon.
26th August: Having arrived home after an 'eventful' journey back down the M5 on Monday we arrived home to find the internet connection not working (and no electric). This is all taking longer than expected to repair. We apologise for the delay that some customers will have had with outstanding orders but we are unpacking and processing orders now and will be up-to-date and hopefully on-line again after the weekend.
24th August: Home again after another wonderful Festival of Quilts. Congratulations to all the winners and exhibitors for creating such a wonderful array of quilts, and to you our customers who stopped by the stand.. Thank you to Linda for being such a great demonstrator of the Accuquilt Go! We had so much fun over the four days and look forward to being together again soon......
12th August: Festival of Quilts is almost upon us! We are doing final checks on stock prior to packing up over the weekend. We look forward to seeing you on the stand C41/E40 from Thursday.
30th July: We have finally updated the side bar on the home page to reflect how much we have added to the web page since it was launched in January. This should mean it is easier to navigate to the sections you are looking for in the Shop. The newsletter sign up has been added to the contact page again... it disappeared, thank you AB for letting us know.
26th July: Box Making has been added to the shop with classic designs from Dilys Fronks as well as Dutch designer Rinske Stevens. I have also added some beautiful acetate wired ribbons which will have images as soon as Graham takes delivery of a new flash gun for his camera....however I did persuade him to take a picture of the view this morning. He managed to catch a moment when the mist was lifting.....
22nd July: How time is flying! This time next month we will be starting to reflect on Festival of Quilts 2010 . We are busy planning the layout, collecting our show dispalys together and arranging delivery of the extra stock needed. We are looking forward to seeing you!
2nd July: I have updated new images for the King Tut threads, some new Dress It Up buttons and more dies for the Accuquilt. We added Accuquilt Go! to the web site a few weeks ago and are amazed by your response. We now have stock and will continue to add more depth as we learn which dies are most popular.
