How It Works
When you order an AccuQuilt appliqué die from us, you'll receive a confirmation email with a download link to your three free embroidery designs. The files are simple to load onto your embroidery machine and easy to follow - a straightforward introduction to machine-embroidered appliqué that delivers polished results for all skill levels.
What You Receive
Each download contains three stitch variations: a satin stitch, a blanket stitch and a decorative outline. Your single zip file includes all major machine embroidery formats: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, SHV, VIP, VP3 and XXX. Thread colour choices are entirely your own - mix and match to complement your chosen fabrics.
Getting Started
Beginning your project is straightforward:
- Apply fusible webbing to your chosen fabric before cutting with your AccuQuilt die
- Layer the die, fused fabric and cutting mat, then run the stack through your AccuQuilt cutter
- Load the design onto your embroidery machine in the correct format for your model
- Follow the on-screen stitch-out for accurate placement and beautifully even stitching

For clean, reliable appliqué results, we recommend Heat n Bond Lite fusible web for secure bonding without stiffness, and Isacord Polyester Thread for a beautiful, durable decorative finish. For most appliqué embroidery, a sharp pointed needle in size 75/11 or 80/12 works best.
