Accuquilt GO! Fabric Cutters & Starter Sets

The AccuQuilt GO! range makes cutting fabric faster, easier and more consistent. GO! dies run from patchwork and appliqué shapes to full project designs for bags, hats and other accessories.

Each GO! cutter presses fabric over the foam covered blades inside the die, once it's covered with the matching cutting mat, producing accurate, repeatable shapes every time. How many layers cut in one pass depends on the die and fabric.

What is AccuQuilt GO!?

AccuQuilt GO! is a fabric cutting system for quilting, sewing and a wide range of creative projects. Each cutter presses fabric through specially designed dies containing precisely positioned, foam covered blades, producing accurate, repeatable shapes without measuring and cutting every piece by hand.

The GO! die range covers patchwork and appliqué shapes, alphabets, designer collections and project based dies for complete makes and accessories.

Why choose an AccuQuilt GO! fabric cutter?

AccuQuilt GO! makes repetitive cutting faster and more consistent, useful anywhere a project calls for several identical pieces, whether that's patchwork blocks, appliqué shapes or a project based make.

Many geometric dies include accurate ¼" seam allowances and dog eared corners where appropriate, which makes piecing and sewing easier further down the line. The time saved doesn't depend on your rotary cutting skill. A rotary cutter still has a place in the process, mainly for prepping fabric before it goes on the die, while AccuQuilt handles the repeat cutting.

Project based dies push this further still: Bow Tie and Bucket Hat dies and the Sallie Tomato bag designs put the same cutting system to work on bags, hats and other accessories.

What else do I need with an AccuQuilt GO! cutter?

You'll need compatible AccuQuilt dies and the matching cutting mats to go with them. A rotary cutter and ruler are worth having too, mainly for prepping fabric before it goes on the die.

Some cutter packages include a die or two, check the individual product page for exactly what's in the box.

Can the GO! cut more than one layer of fabric at once?

Yes, though how many depends on the die and the material. Appliqué dies generally cut up to 4 layers, Grizzly dies up to 12 where appropriate, always check the guidance for your specific die.

Is the GO! only for quilting?

No. Patchwork, quilting and appliqué are where it's best known, but the die range also covers bags, hats and other accessories through project based dies. What you can make depends on the dies and materials you're working with.
