What are Edge 2 Edge designs?
Edge 2 Edge (E2E) quilting designs create stunning, continuous patterns that flow seamlessly from one edge of your quilt to the other.
Unlike traditional designs, E2E patterns are intelligently interlocked across the entire quilt surface, eliminating breaks and creating a cohesive, professional finish. This technique maximizes visual impact while ensuring even stitch distribution for superior durability.

Preparation for E2E Quilting
TOP
Please press the completed quilt top and trim loose threads before bringing/sending your quilt top to us.
Also, please attach a note to the top of your quilt (using a safety pin), indicating whether it is directional.
BACKING
We recommend 100% cotton, and have several 108” wide backings for you to choose from.
Backing fabric should be joined if necessary, squared, pressed, and MUST be cut at least 8"/20cm wider and longer than the quilt top (in order to attach it to the quilt frame).
Please attach a note to the top of your backing fabric (using a safety pin), indicating whether it is directional.
BATTING
Your batting MUST be at least 4"/10cm larger all around the edges than your quilt top, in order to attach it to the quilt frame.
You can provide your own batting, or purchase from the wide selection on our website.
THREAD
As part of our quilting service, we include Aurifil 50/3 & 40/3 100% cotton threads in the colour of your choice.
