    EXPENSIVE

    I took the opportunity to replace 4 new cutting mats with the recent discounts and, whilst I’m glad I did, I do think they are overpriced, albeit necessary!

    I did need to change my existing 6 x 24” mat when using my new strip die, as it wasn’t cutting cleanly, so that was proof that they do need to be replaced regularly.

    Since I purchased 4 cutting mats of different sizes, I am not going to review each one individually. I did notice that not all were a nice white colour though - a couple looked very yellowed and made me wonder if they were old stock - but I dare say this won’t affect functionality.

    We completely understand your concerns about the pricing, and we appreciate your honesty regarding this matter. We can assure you that we strive to keep our prices as low as possible. These mats are designed to work specifically with the AccuQuilt system, which does contribute to their cost.
    It's excellent that you noticed the improved cutting performance with your new strip die - this really demonstrates how fresh mats make such a difference to cutting accuracy and clean edges.

    Regarding the colour variation you observed, we apologise that some of the mats appeared yellowed. Whilst this shouldn't affect their cutting performance, we understand your concern about whether they might be older stock. I can assure you it does not affect the usage, and it is how they arrive from AccuQuilt themselves.
