Embroidery with Jo - Rope Place Mat and Bowl - 15th and 16th October
Join our in-house embroidery expert, Jo, for an inspiring two-day workshop where you'll create a beautifully embroidered personalised place mat that's perfect for everyday dining, special occasions, or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
Whether you're new to machine embroidery or already have some experience, Jo will guide you step by step through the process, helping you create a unique design using a choice of embroidery patterns, colours and decorative finishes. You'll learn techniques that can easily be adapted for future projects, giving you plenty of inspiration to continue creating at home.
If time allows, you'll also have the opportunity to make a stylish rope bowl to complement your place mat.
This hands-on workshop is a fantastic way to build your embroidery and sewing skills. You'll explore a variety of embroidery designs while learning how to construct with cotton rope or jute, use colourful zigzag stitching for decorative effect, and work with stabilisers to achieve professional-looking results.

Skill Level: Suitable for all skill levels, although participants should have some experience using an embroidery machine.

If for some reason you are unable to attend the course, we will be happy to refund the amount paid, give a credit, try and move you to another class or apply a store credit provided you give us more than five days’ notice. Cancellations less than five days prior to the class may result in a full fee forfeiture.
