Description
If you would like to complete your quilt from start to finish you can take a simple certification course at Quilt Direct then do it yourself on one of our Bernina Q-series longarm machines.
- Learn how to load the longarm quilt frame with your quilt
- Understand how to operate the longarm machine
- Knowledge of threading, bobbin winding and thread tension
- Discover the BSR modes (stitch regulator)
- Free-motion, ruler work, pantographs
- Ergonomics and Health & Safety
Fabrics, thread, and tools will be provided for the certification course. This training will take approximately 2-3 hours. After that you can hire longarm DIY time and work on finishing your quilt yourself, with an expert on hand for advice and guidance.
