The In Shaft Left Seam Guide in the Shaft is used to create parallel seams to lines, existing seams or the fabric edge on the right side of the Presser Foot.

L850's produced before July 2021 (Code 61/07), requires an updated version of the Presser Foot Shaft to be installed to accommodate the Seam Guides.  L860 Shaft with Seamguide Opening.
