Aurifil Thread 50wt Cones

Aurifil 50wt thread is strong and thin, resulting in remarkably flat and crisp seams. It is the quilter's choice for piecing and subtle quilting.

50wt works incredibly well for many other techniques:

English Paper Piecing
Needle Turn Appliqué
Bobbin and Machine Lace
Machine Appliqué (Straight Stitch, ZigZag, Blind Hem and Blanket Stitch)
Machine Embroidery
Dense Machine Quilting
Subtle Machine and Longarm Quilting
Basting
Whole Cloth and Micro Quilting,
and Dense Background Designs.

Cones contain 5900m (6452yds). We recommend size 70/11 or 80/12 machine needles, usually Microtex, Quilting or Universal.
