Aurifil Thread 12wt Cotton Large Spools

Aurifil 12wt cotton thread is a chunky, statement-weight thread suitable for use on the needle of most domestic sewing machines, as well as for hand stitching and bobbin work. The thick, lustrous thread creates bold, highly visible stitches that add dramatic texture and definition to quilts, making it a popular choice for big stitch hand quilting, decorative topstitching, and artistic embroidery. For bobbin work, place the fabric right side down and stitch from the back, allowing the 12wt thread wound in the bobbin to create a raised, textured design on the right side of the fabric.

Recommended needle: 100/16 or 90/14 Topstitch.
