The Bernina Knee Lift Lever (Free-Hand System) allows you to raise and lower the presser foot using your knee, keeping both hands free to guide your fabric with precision. Compatible with all Bernina machines fitted with the knee lift mechanism, it is available in two versions: Standard and Extended. The Extended version is deeper and is ideal for machines set into a cabinet surface, such as Horn Cabinets.

    The knee lift lever certainly makes sewing intricate things easier. I bought the longer one as that was what I mainly needed.
