    Cordonnet joy

    I love cording and exploring different thread weights. In the past I’ve managed well with various other presser feet, but #11 has a brilliant 2mm lead channel which perfectly aligns Cordonnet weight thread under the narrowest of couching fine zig zags stitches.

    Topstitching and sashiko are perfectly aligned. It’s a beautiful Bernina straight stitch.

    Next experiment will be wire work using fine florist wire ….
