Ideal for sewing buttonholes that are close to fabric edges, the Buttonhole leveler also comes into its own when sewing on layers of different thickness. The Buttonhole leveler provides an even supporting surface for the buttonhole foot with slide, thereby improving fabric feed. The result: neat, precisely sewn buttonholes. If the fabric you are working with is especially thick and fluffy, we recommend using the BERNINA Fabric-feeding aid for sewing buttonholes in order to achieve an attractive result.
