One of the things that I find the most inspirational and fulfilling about quilting is its connection to women of the past. I love to bring back the prints of another era so that we can all use and enjoy them in our favourite “fresh vintage” colours and palettes. For this collection, I was not only inspired by a few of my all-time favourite vintage prints from my collection but also thoughts and images of my sewing studio. My head swirled with pinked edges, tiny traditional stars, and stitch lines. And so, *Stitched* was born. Classic Fig Tree colours in soft muted tones of warm reds and aquas mixed with golden yellow, soft greens and taupes, harkening back to the palette of one of my much earlier lines, Whimsy. This collection makes me want to hide in my quilt room for days and days, and do nothing else but sew. Who is with me?
