The BERNINA Q20 with Pro Frame combines a full 20" (51 cm) of throat space with a professional, rigid frame available in two sizes. For quilters who want to go further, the Q20 on the Pro Frame supports Qmatic, BERNINA's premium computerised automation system, or the Pantograph Kit for guided edge-to-edge quilting. Most quilters choose one or the other, with Qmatic offering the ultimate in precision and creative control. Please note that Qmatic is not available on the Small frame.

BERNINA Longarm Stitch Regulation: Master hand-guided quilting quickly with the integrated BERNINA Stitch Regulator. Simple to activate and customise via the touchscreen, it keeps stitch length consistent even at variable speeds. Choose from three stitch regulation modes, including basting and fully manual.

Unique user interface: A 4.3" colour touchscreen brings the best of the domestic machine world to the longarm, with on-screen help, animations, a stitch counter, and built-in tutorials.

Unique threading path and integrated bobbin winder: The forward-positioned thread stand is easy to reach, and the threading path is simple to follow. The integrated bobbin winder is one of the small details that make this machine exceptional.

Unique ergonomics: Fully articulating handles adjust to the perfect position for edge-to-edge, custom motifs, or ruler work. Program each button on the front handles for your most-used functions. Guide pantograph designs with ease using the optional rear handle system and screen.

Unique tension control: The industry's only presser foot tension release for threading ease, with electronic numeric tension settings for consistent results across all thread types.

Speed: Up to 2,200 spm for hand-guided quilting.

LED lighting: 50 LED lights along the length of the machine and above the needle illuminate your quilt for enhanced visibility.

Kick Start function: For fatigue-free quilting on large projects, Kick Start allows you to quilt continuously without holding down the foot control.

A complimentary day's tuition with an experienced tutor is included with the purchase of a Q Series machine. This can be at our Studio in Devon on one of our Q Series machines, or on your new machine at home, either via video link or with a personal visit from one of our longarm tutors.

BERNINA Q Series machines sold in the UK have a full 2-year warranty on the whole machine or 50 million stitches.

To comply with the warranty, we recommend maintaining the machine and having it serviced within the recommended periods. BERNINA Q Series quilting machines have electronic stitch counters that display an on-screen message when service is needed.

Even if you use your machine only occasionally and do not reach the service stitch count, we recommend having it serviced at least every 3 years.

The BERNINA Q20 with Pro Frame is a special order and can take up to 6 weeks for delivery. We suggest you contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability.

Delivery is included in the price for mainland UK. A specialist courier will deliver the machine, with full installation and set-up carried out by an experienced BERNINA-approved installer in your home.

The Pro Frame requires careful planning of your quilting space before installation. The frame depth is approximately 112 cm (3 ft 8"), and the length depends on the model chosen. All configurations require working headroom of 152-183 cm (60"-72") depending on your working height, plus comfortable working space in front of and behind the frame.

We have a special mat available on loan to help you visualise the space needed before your machine arrives.

Quilting has never been easier. Qmatic automates the quilting process in just a few simple steps, letting you plan your quilt in every detail, stitch out edge-to-edge designs or intricate custom patterns, and access on-demand help at every stage.

Design meets WiFi. Qmatic connects via integrated WiFi, making it simple to transfer designs from your PC or laptop. The system integrates perfectly with the frame.

Commands at your fingertips. Change parameters with a single tap, pinch to zoom and pan on design details, and access all features with one-click controls for layout, design placement, and stitch-out.

Freehand quilting any time. Switch between automated and freehand quilting instantly with the one-touch quick belt release system. Beautifully combine digitised designs with your own free-hand work.

Art & Stitch software included. Create your own unique quilt patterns or choose from more than 675 designs, including 350 free designs and contributions from renowned designers including Tula Pink, Patricia Ritter, and Amanda Murphy, as well as designs from our very own in-house tutor Linzi Upton.
