Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR)

The Bernina 710 is BSR compatible. The optional BSR foot assists free-motion quilting with straight or zigzag stitches, helping maintain a consistent stitch length as your sewing speed changes. The BSR foot is sold separately.

Extra-long freearm

With 10" (254mm) of space to the right of the needle, the Bernina 710 gives you room to handle quilts and larger sewing projects. The included slide-on table provides additional support.

Bernina Dual Feed

Integrated Dual Feed helps feed challenging and fine fabrics evenly. Engage it when needed and tuck it away when not in use.

Stitch control

Adjust stitch length, stitch width and needle position using the colour touchscreen. The machine remembers your stitch settings as you work.

Automatic presser foot control

The presser foot lowers automatically at the start of a seam and lifts at the end, helping you position and move your fabric.

Onscreen support

The Sewing Consultant and built-in tutorials provide guidance directly on the colour touchscreen.

At Quilt Direct, we want you to make the most of your Bernina machine, whether it is new or pre-loved. We provide a personalised 1-to-1 introduction to your machine, either at collection or shortly afterwards, along with support to help you explore its features.

We also offer Bernina Mastery Sessions at our Studio. This Bernina 710 has current firmware and is eligible to attend. Pre-loved purchasers receive a 50% discount on one Mastery Session within two years of purchase. Additional sessions are available at the standard rate.

Our Studio is in the Tamar Valley, on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon. Local walking and cycling routes, fishing and golf provide options for accompanying partners and family members while you attend your session.
