    Functional

These have done the job I needed them for - namely holding golden threads paper onto fabric while I quilted the design onto my fabric. Were fine enough not to distort the paper or fabric but I found them very 'flimsy' and needed careful handling when 'pushing' into the top. layer of the quilt sandwich as they soon distorted and bent.

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing how you used the pins with Golden Threads paper. We’re pleased to hear they performed the task without distorting your fabric or paper.

We understand your point about their finer gauge; it makes them ideal for delicate work, but they can require more careful handling, especially with denser layers. Clover Quilting Pins are a slightly heavier alternative and may offer the durability you're looking for.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It helps others make informed choices and allows us to offer the most suitable tools for all quilting styles.

    Warm regards,
    The Quilt Direct Team
