Retro Clean Textile Soak

Retro Clean is a gentle soaking cleaner designed to safely remove yellowing and age-related stains from vintage quilts and all washable fabrics. It lifts stubborn stains caused by mildew, wood oil, tea, coffee, blood, water damage, mould, and perspiration, restoring your fabric with renewed colour and vitality.

Use approximately 4 tablespoons of Retro Clean granules per gallon (approx. 4.5 litres) of warm water for both hand washing and everyday machine washing. For deeper staining, soak items for up to 48 hours; the longer the soak, the more effective the results. Check items for colourfastness before starting, and rinse off any surface dirt prior to soaking. Where possible, keep the water warm throughout the soaking process to speed up cleaning.
