Aurifil Lana 12wt thread is a 50% wool and 50% acrylic blend offering a soft, lofty finish well suited to hand quilting, big stitch quilting, and decorative hand stitching. The heavier weight creates a visible, textured stitch line with a warm, natural appearance, particularly popular for embroidery on felt and folk-style textile projects.

For machine use, a 90/14 Topstitch needle with 50wt in the bobbin, or a 100/16 needle with 40wt in the bobbin, is recommended. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
