Wash-aways make great embroidery backing or toppings and are designed to stabilise delicate, washable fabrics or high pile fabric such as towelling. Use for freehand machine embroidery, lace or any project that requires the complete removal of the stabiliser.

Avalon Plus is a firm, wash-away stabilizer with the strength of a non-woven fabric. It dissolves in warm water with no residue, allowing finished embroidery free of any hint of the backing used to create it. Can handle dense embroidery without tearing. Also a good choice for darning backing, textile collages, 3-D appliqué, needle painting and freehand machine embroidery.
