    I Love My Mettler Silk Finish Cotton Gift Case!

    This Mettler Silk Finish cotton gift case has made life so much easier when selecting threads to use for my Nottobesneezedat vintage hanky upcycling/repurposing project. No shops close to me seem to stock a good range of the silk finish cottons and ordering individual spools online felt a bit risky, in case I ordered the wrong ones. The gift case is expensive, but I don't have to worry about not having the right colour - it's already proved useful when I initially selected too vibrant a colour. I simply unpicked it and used a paler shade. A trip to Devon to collect it meant seeing the fantastic range of embroidery machines Quilt Direct stock too, win-win-win, especially as we did some sightseeing and stopped for a delicious lunch on the way home.
