Setting up the Nativity with my Mom every Christmas is a favourite holiday memory. She would add new figures to the display each year, a new shepherd, camel or palm tree, and I loved seeing it grow. It is a tradition I continued when I started my own family, and it's become something I look forward to. Our Nativity is the first display to be put up, and the last one taken down after the holidays. Joyful Joyful is a celebration of this tradition. The North Star, a manger scene, and a Peace dove are part of this collection, as well as beautiful poinsettia, winter berries and paisleys. The colours are traditional reds and greens, accented by warm peach, aqua and navy. I love that it is sophisticated and still traditional—my two quilts for Joyful Joyful highlight the Nativity and the poinsettias found in the collection prints.
