VACANCY: Multi Channel Marketing Apprentice
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to work alongside the Marketing Manager, creating content to carry out the marketing plan to grow our profile and our audience.

From single social media posts to comprehensive multi-channel campaigns, you will gain hands-on experience of many marketing disciplines and the opportunity to express your creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will take ideas and information from the Brand Managers and Events Manager to promote a wide range of products and projects.
You will create eye-catching and engaging content to delight our existing customers and attract new ones.
Whilst supported by the Marketing Manager as much as is required, you will increasingly carry out tasks on your own as your training progresses and your skills and confidence grows.
- Attend regular meetings with Brand Managers to discuss upcoming promotional opportunities
- Devise a schedule of subjects for regular social media posts and email newsletters
- Create copy and accompanying artwork/videos for regular social media and email content
- Grow Quilt Direct's existing profile on Facebook and Instagram
- Develop a new profile for Quilt Direct on Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube
- Be an active member of the community on social media, posting in groups and responding to comments, etc
- Assist the Marketing Manager in creating schedules and content for major multi-channel campaigns
- Assist the Marketing Manager in creating automated email sequences to follow product purchases
- Assist the Marketing Manager with content creation for the website, including new pages and blog posts
- Use analytics tools to measure and report on social media, email and website performance
- Support the Events Manager with events as and when required
- Attend company events as required (eg Open Days)
- Keep up-to-date with competitor activities to inform future plans and promotions
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
- Professional manner and high standards of work with good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team, with the self-motivation and use of initiative to work alone when required
- Ability to share own ideas and contribute to wider team discussions for growing the business
- Good creative skills and written/verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of multiple social media platforms, particularly TikTok and YouTube
- An interest in machine sewing, quilting and/or embroidery would be beneficial but is not a requirement
- Experience with Shopify would be beneficial but is not a requirement
HOURS
30 hours per week (9am – 5pm over 4 days)
SALARY
£9,984 - £15,000 depending on experience

This is an 18 month apprenticeship. Upon completion, a permanent position is available for the right candidate.
