Creative sewing and straightforward control

Choose from 515 stitches including 3 sewing fonts using the 3.5" colour touchscreen. A 170 mm workspace to the right of the needle, adjustable presser foot pressure, speed control and retractable feed dog support dressmaking and quilting. The extension table is an optional accessory.

Easier preparation

The comfort needle threader simplifies threading, while the automatic thread cutter finishes seams neatly. The Click & Lift stitch plate can be lifted and exchanged without a screwdriver. Stitch plate recognition and upper and lower thread sensors support machine operation.

StitchDirect app

Create and edit embroidery designs and decorative stitches on an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, then transfer them to the b59 over Wi-Fi. The free app also offers the bernette Creative Consultant for sewing guidance.

Designs and embroidery area

Choose from 268 built-in embroidery designs and 11 embroidery fonts. The standard embroidery area is 120 × 180 mm. The included Multi-Position Hoop extends the area to 120 × 300 mm across multiple embroidery positions, with hoop repositioning required.

Connected creativity

Rotate, mirror, resize and combine designs on the touchscreen or in the StitchDirect app. Create or edit your own designs on a smartphone or tablet and transfer them over Wi-Fi. Monitor embroidery progress live and receive thread-change and hoop-repositioning notifications.

Creative techniques

Explore freestanding lace, applique, fringe embroidery and CutWork designs with the appropriate materials and accessories. CutWork requires the separately available BERNINA CutWork Tool for bernette.
