At Quilt Direct, we want you to make the most of your new Bernina machine. That’s why we provide extended support and assistance to help you unlock its full potential. Every customer receives a personalised 1-2-1 introduction to their machine, either at the time of collection or shortly afterwards.

We also offer a complimentary** Bernina Embroidery Mastery Session at our Studio, which you can attend within two years of purchasing your machine. Additional sessions are available at the standard rate.

Our Studio is located within the stunning Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon. The area boasts scenic walking trails, cycling routes, fishing spots, golf courses, and more, perfect for entertaining non-sewing partners and family members. If you require details on local holiday accommodations, we’re happy to assist.

Additionally, Bernina’s London Tuition Centre provides free machine-specific tuition for new Bernina owners, offering even more opportunities to refine your skills.

Bernina machines sold in the United Kingdom currently include a full 7 year manufacturer’s warranty covering the whole machine, giving you long term confidence in your investment.

At Quilt Direct, we want you to feel confident and well supported with your new machine. We will help you register your warranty so everything is set up correctly from the start.

To activate the extended warranty, complete the warranty card included with your machine and return it to Quilt Direct. We will sign and register the warranty for you and arrange for your official extended warranty certificate to be issued by Bernina’s UK distributor, Bogod & Co.

To maintain the extended warranty, the machine should be serviced within the recommended service periods. Bernina sewing machines include electronic stitch counters which display an on screen message when a service is due.

Even if the machine is used only occasionally and the stitch counter reminder has not appeared, the machine should still be serviced at least once every 3 years to keep it running smoothly.

The extended warranty applies to normal domestic use only and is valid for the original purchaser of the machine. It does not apply to machines used for educational or commercial purposes.

If you have any questions about your warranty, servicing, or looking after your machine, the Quilt Direct team will always be happy to help.

Your machine will be shipped via courier, we send out machines Monday to Thursday on a Next Working Day Delivery Service. Alternatively, you are very welcome to arrange to collect from the Studio. If you require advice before purchasing, our team will be happy to help.
