Threading
Illuminated One-step BERNINA Air Threader and a semi-automatic needle threader make threading the L 620 straightforward, while programmable needle stop and stitch-by-stitch control via the foot control give you precise handling at the needles.

Lighting and visibility
A bright sewing light with dimmer keeps the stitching area clearly visible, so you can place coverstitch seams accurately and keep an eye on decorative threads as you sew.

Space and access
The swing-out presser foot, drop feed dog and 120 mm of space to the right of the needles provide better access around the stitch area, with the Slide-on Table adding extra supported workspace for garments and larger projects.

Comfort features
Free Hand System with knee lifter, programmable needle stop, speed control and quiet DC motor all come together to make the L 620 feel smooth, accurate and comfortable to use for longer coverstitch sessions.[

Our Studio sits in the beautiful Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon. It’s surrounded by walking trails, cycling routes, fishing, golf and more – ideal for non‑sewing partners or family members who come along. If you need local accommodation suggestions, we’re happy to help.

In addition, the BERNINA London Tuition Centre offers free model‑specific tuition for new BERNINA owners, giving you even more chances to build your skills.
