This non-toxic fabric treatment solution is designed to prepare fabric for permanent printing using an inkjet printer. It allows you to treat your own fabric at home, making it easy to create custom designs for quilting, sewing, and craft projects.

Once treated, the fabric can be printed using an inkjet printer, typically with freezer paper applied to the reverse for stability during printing. After printing, the fabric remains soft and supple, making it suitable for use in finished projects without added stiffness.

A large 900 ml bottle provides enough solution to treat approximately 45 A4 sheets of fabric, making it a practical choice for both occasional use and larger creative projects. Print quality will vary by printer, with higher ink output producing brighter results and minimal colour loss.

It didn’t work as well as expected, the fabric was limp and some colour came out of a darker piece

The fabric stayed limp and difficult to print , the bubble jet didn’t make any difference

    Hi Lynne,
Thank you for your review and for taking the time to share your experience. Results may vary based on the fabric, printer, and print settings.

As the fabric and backing paper types were not specified, it is difficult to determine the exact cause for your disappointment. If you would like, we would be happy to discuss your experience, offer guidance, or help you decide whether a different solution might better suit your goals.

    Kind regards
    Quilt Direct Team
