The Milward Tailor's Clapper helps flatten seams and set crisp creases after ironing. This wooden pressing tool is useful for reducing bulk in quilt blocks, shaping garment seams and setting pleats.
Place the clapper over the freshly pressed area and apply firm pressure for 10–15 seconds. The wood absorbs heat and moisture as the fabric cools, helping the seam or crease stay in place.
