Join our in-house award winning quilter Linzi Upton on this one day workshop to help you gain confidence in freemotion quilting on domestic sewing machines.
What You’ll Learn:
✔️ How to layer and mark your quilt
✔️ How to use a variety of free-motion quilting feet to create stunning results
✔️ Experiment with different threads and stitch sizes
✔️ Sketch and practise quilting different free-motion quilt designs
This workshop is packed with practical techniques and is suitable for all levels and for those looking to build their skills. You’ll work at your own pace in a supportive environment, with plenty of hands-on guidance, tips and encouragement to help you make the very best start on your free-motion quilting journey.
Course details:
- Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Refreshments: Morning and afternoon breaks provided
- Lunch: 30-minute break (bring your own lunch or purchase from a local café at additional cost)
- Class size: Maximum of 8 participants to ensure plenty of tutor attention
- Location: Our bright, airy studio
