Mettler Metallic Threads

Mettler Metallic decorative thread, 40wt, composed of 55% polyester and 45% polyamide, available on 100m and 600m spools. The range covers gold tones (Bright Gold, Beaten Gold, Pale Gold, Copper Gold, Inka Gold), silvers (Silver, Antique Silver, Gold and Silver), and jewel tones including Bright Turquoise, Bright Amethyst, Bright Rubin, Sea Topas, Malachit, Dark Quartz, and Jewel Multi. Suited to decorative embroidery, topstitching, and emblems on domestic sewing and embroidery machines.

A slower stitch speed is recommended when using metallic thread to reduce breakage. Recommended needle sizes: 80/12 or 90/14, using a Microtex, Quilting, or Topstitch needle. Certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
