Immerse yourself in the Ruler Work world on this two day workshop for Bernina machine users. Join our in-house award winning quilter Linzi Upton who will show you how to create quilting designs and patterns using a variety of different rulers.

Learn the basics of ruler work on both your home sewing machine and have access to a variety of longarm machines in our studio.  You’ll learn how to use templates to create basic straight lines, circles, curves building up a repertoire of designs for future projects.

Linzi's workshop is full of new techniques.  You will work at your own pace and it is designed to help you make the very best start on your ruler work journey by providing hands on guidance, advice and encouragement.

The course runs from 10am to 4pm each day with refreshment breaks in the morning and afternoon and ½ hr for lunch where you can bring you own or purchase from our local café (charged).

There is a maximum of 8 people on the course.

What is included:

  • 2 days tuition with undivided attention from Linzi
  •  Fabric, thread and batting for each day
  • A starter pack to take home including 2 ruler templates

  • A requirements list will be sent out to you ahead of the class
  • Refreshments will be available throughout the day and we will take orders for lunch to be delivered from our local cafe (chargeable)or please feel free to bring your own

Cancellation Policy

If for some reason you are unable to attend the course, we will be happy to refund the amount paid, give a credit, try and move you to another class or apply a store credit provided you give us more than five days’ notice. Cancellations less than five days prior to the class may result in a full fee forfeiture.
