This one day class is designed to introduce or extend your quilting knowledge through using the following accessories:-
Walking Foot – be shown how to use this wonderful accessory which works with feed dogs to keep layers of fabric from shifting while being stitched
Freemotion – discover how freemotion can used to offer optimal view of the stitching area and produce precise and creative sewing in the process
BSR – learn how the Bernina Stitch Regulator produces perfectly neat, consistent stitching while free-motion sewing
Rulers – discover the versatile wonders of ruler work using a variety of different specialised templates as a guide for a line, curve or specific design to create accurate repeatable designs.
The course runs from 10am to 4pm each day with refreshment breaks in the morning and afternoon and 1/2 hr for lunch where you can bring you own or purchase from our local cafe (charged).
There is a maximum of 8 people on the course.
What to bring:
Sewing machine in good working order. Bring a quilt or we will provide quilt samples on which to practice.
