In this tutorial you will typically cover the following:-
Day 1: Mastery
- Getting to know your machine
- Machine functions including gets to grips with the centrally locted colour touch screen
- Stitch selection
- Needles, threads, threading the machine and thread tension
- Cutting
- Pressing feet
- Parts and pieces
- Machine maintenance
THIS DAY IS FOR BOTH L860 AND L890 MACHINES
Take all the knowledge gained from your first day and start being creative! Immerse yourself in creating fringe, embellish fabric using cover/chain stitches and turn ordinary ladder stitch into a decorative and unique way to enhance or join fabrics.
THIS DAY IS FOR L890 MACHINES ONLY
This course runs from 10am - 4pm. There will be short breaks during the day and approximately 1/2 hr lunch break.
You are required to bring along your own overlocker machine to this class and the cost includes a £10 admin fee which is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hrs notice.
