We're delighted to announce 'Palazzo', our fourth Aurifil Colour Builders Subscription!
This is a fabulous all-in-one year-long package to build (or re-build!) your Aurifil 50wt thread collection, practice Foundation Paper Piecing with guidance from an Aurifil expert and create a fabulous new quilt, all as part of an international quilting community.
The Threads
Our favourite Italian thread masters have created another collection of 12 beautiful Block of the Month patterns, using one of their 'Italian Tour' thread sets.
The 'Italian Tour' thread sets are each named after an inspiring location in Italy, with colours chosen to suit. These gorgeous colour palettes include the likes of uplifting teal for the waters around Capri, sunny yellow for the lemon groves of Sicily, and warm orange for stunning sunsets across Tuscany.
Each set contains three large spools of 50wt thread in shades of that location's chosen colour - one warm, one medium and one dark.
How It Works
With Colour Builders Subscriptions, one thread set is despatched each month alongside a Block of the Month pattern for that colour palette. For 'Palazzo', these are Foundation Paper Piecing quilt patterns, exclusively designed by Kitty Wilkin of Night Quilter. Alongside the patterns, subscribers will also receive tips, tricks, and exclusive videos from Kitty herself.
'Palazzo' will take you on a journey through Italy's rich architectural history, illustrated and enhanced by vibrant colour and contrast between fluid and angular shapes.
