Designed for straight-stitching, Foot # 37D is ideal for sewing ¼" or 1/8 " seam allowances. Foot # 37D features three evenly spaced markings (¼" apart) on both sides that make the square insertion of pieces in patchworking easier. A narrow groove under the flat sole serves as a thread channel for smoother piecing.
Consider the use of a straight stitch needle plate for complete control of the fabric.

The foot has a 1/4 inch on both sides of the needle and great visibility for the needle. My go to foot for almost all of my straight stitch sewing.
