Retro Clean is a gentle soaking agent designed to safely remove yellowing and age related stains from vintage quilts and other washable fabrics. It is particularly effective on stains caused by mildew, wood oil, tea, coffee, blood, water damage, and perspiration, helping to restore fabrics to their original colour and vitality.
This eco friendly cleaner works through a slow soaking process, allowing the cleaning solution to penetrate fibres gradually and lift dirt and stains without damaging fabric structure or affecting colour. It is suitable for use on heirloom quilts, vintage linens, lace, and clothing where care and preservation are essential.
For best results, items are typically soaked for up to 48 hours, allowing Retro Clean time to work thoroughly.

Retro Clean is a gentle soaking agent designed to remove yellowing age stains, such as mildew, wood oil, tea, coffee, perspiration, and water damage, from vintage quilts and washable fabrics. However, its effectiveness can vary depending on the type of stain, the fabric involved, and how long the item has been marked. In some cases, longer soaking times or repeat treatments may be needed for deeply set or older stains.
